June & July Newsletter & Contest

What's Happening Here at the Inn
Although the temperatures have been up and down during June, we are still seeing many travelers to western North Carolina. Our weekends fill up quickly, but there is still a lot of openings mid-week. We are offering a mid-week Gas Special during July & August so let us help defray some of those high gas prices and stay Sundays - Thursdays.

We've accomplished some great work on both the Holly & Azalea Rooms over the past two months. The foyer area in the Holly Room as well as the bathroom have seen makeovers. Gone is the Waverly floral wallpaper from the 80's and it its place is a pretty green small print paper with matching border paper. The bathroom received a textured paint job in a soft yellow color.

The old tub is gone from the Azalea bathroom and in it's place is a spacious, tiled in shower. It helps make the bathroom feel larger and the shower head has been moved to the opposite wall for more head space. We've also replaced the queen bed with a king bed. The headboard was made from and antique door and it matches the antique window hanging above the bed. As soon as I get some updated photos, I will post them on the website.

We also have a brand new, custom-built pergola in the area outside the kitchen between the parking lot and the entrance door. The area is slowly being turned into a garden/sitting area and we've planted several rose bushes and butterfly bushes in the area. There are two rustic benches for seating and the plan is to have a koi pond with a fountain built under the pergola for added beauty.

The weekend of August 8th & 9th, we are hosting another Classy Cooking & Biltmore Estate Getaway Weekend Package. Go to the Specials Page for all the details.
