Event Facility

The Asheville wedding and event venue at 1847 Blake House Inn B&B provides the perfect setting for indoor and outdoor weddings, receptions, parties, family reunions, crafting weekends, and meetings. The Inn’s facilities include 2 dining rooms, 2 covered porches, a large outdoor patio, gazebo, arbor, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Indoor Facilities

On the first floor:

  • 2 large dining rooms (up to 50 seated with original ornamental plaster moldings from England, gas fireplaces with original mantles, and 14′ ceilings.
  • Parlor with seating for 10, breakfast/buffet room with small Gift Shop, large center hallway, wheelchair accessible bathrooms, and commercial-sized kitchen.
  • One first floor guestroom in the main house (Rose Room) with sleeping capacity up to four with handicap accessible bathroom and pet friendly.
  • Separate Carriage House Sycamore Suite with sleeping capacity up to 6 (up to 4 adults and 2 children). First floor Suite has a bedroom with a king bed, full bathroom, living room with full-size sofa bed, and kitchenette.

On the second floor:

  • 5 beautifully appointed guest bedrooms with sleeping capacity for up to 12 with a guest-only common area complete with game table, games, coffee maker and reading chairs.

Outdoor Facilities

  • Large and small stone patios (up to 100 seated), covered front and back porches with additional seating. Large patio measures 24X40.
  • Grass “wedding area” adjacent to large patio with custom arbor made from antique doors and flanked by wisteria. Wedding area measures 20X20.
  • Large lower grass area is used for parking on the property.
  • Off-street parking for up to 35 cars with additional parking in lot adjacent to the property.

-Non-denominational minister to perform the ceremony

Standard Package - $949+tax ($909+tax Jan - Mar)

Includes everything in Economy, plus:

-2nd night in the same room, with breakfast

-Roses in your room OR boutonniere for the groom

-Chocolate truffles in your room


Premium Package - $1099+tax ($1059+tax Jan - Mar)

Includes everything in the above packages, plus:

-In-room massage for the couple
